Released in the Netherlands in January 2026, <MISS MOXY> follows a prim and sophisticated city cat who becomes separated from her family while on vacation and must find her way back home. One of the most ambitious Dutch animated productions, the film was made on a budget of nine million euros and has quickly established itself as a standout in Dutch animation. Bursting with feline charm and playful humor, it won the Audience Award at the Warsaw International Children's Film Festival — a sure sign of the delight it has in store for young audiences.

Vincent Bal, Wip Vernooij

Belgian filmmaker Vincent Bal is known for his inventive storytelling across works including the short <THE BLOODY OLIVE>, which garnered more than 20 international awards, and the box office hit <MINOES>. Dutch animation director Wip Vernooij has built a distinguished career in television and feature animation since making his debut with <MOSHI MONSTERS: THE MOVIE>, with credits including <FOX & HARE>. Bringing together their distinct creative strengths, the two veteran directors recently joined forces to co-direct the 3D animated feature <MISS MOXY>, with remarkable results.
